  1. Last check completed on Thu 18 Jun 2026 11:48 AM (today) Duration: 14 hours, 59 minutes, 31 seconds. Average speed: 148.3 MB/s Finding 0 errors Does it mean i was having bad cable ? I will wait for somebody more skilled but seems that the data should be okay and i can wipe old disk and rotate it. tower-diagnostics-20260618-1839.zip
  2. Hello this is the zip Thank you! tower-diagnostics-20260616-1233.zip Edit: I squashed my comments to this. I noticed mover has been run before parity check. However more concerning are: SATA errors on new disk... which is connected to additional pcie extension card with... could be faulty omg so sorry to bother. Should I get 4tb disk back to slot 1 rebuild parity and see other options of connecting disk or mount disk outside of array and do checksum of important files? What would you suggest? should i stop parity check keep it as is ? I tried short SMART checks after i downloaded above zip. reported no error for new disk again.
  3. Hello, I would like to ask for some advice on how to proceed. I recently replaced a data drive and performed the following steps: Stopped the array. Unassigned Data Disk 1 (4 TB). Started the array and confirmed that the disk was being emulated. Stopped the array again and assigned a new 8 TB disk. Before doing so, I ran an extended SMART test and pre-cleared the disk with zeros. Started the array and let it rebuild overnight. After the rebuild completed, I started a parity check. The parity check is currently running and has reported 149 sync errors corrected. I am worried that I may have done something wrong and could potentially lose data. The old 4 TB drive still contains all of its data, which is reassuring, but I am concerned that the parity correction process could be writing incorrect parity information and put my data at risk. Should I stop the parity check and shut down the server while I still have the original drive available, or is it safe to let the parity check continue? I am not seeing any errors or warnings in the Unraid dashboard. I can provide diagnostics, logs, and screenshots once I get home. I only noticed the sync errors while checking the server from my phone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
