  1. Thank you Turl, I may have been more forthcoming with the things I've tried. Let's just say: if I don't continue with unraid, and have to get my windows settings back to the way things were... I most certainly went from public (default in windows), to private, to public again. The most recommended is 'private', which, as a word, doesn't make much sense to me, but that's what I have right now. If it's my network, then I might as well wait for my new provider, because I will change provider the next week.

  3. I'd like to know if anyone has managed to connect to unraid from the filemanager system in Windows? So, not a virtual machine on unraid itself, but windows 11, from you main computer (desktop). There seems to be fundamental differences between older windows version and windows 11. I'm a total noob that really likes the idea of a server. I still have my free trial, but it will expire within a week. I would really like to set it up, cover the basics enough so I can get the paid version. But right now, I'm mostly frustrated how hard it is to get things working.
