(SOLVED) Cannot activate license - Post request required error message
I'll update this with what I did yesterday, that did eventually solve it. I'll split it up into what probably had no effect and what probably did have an effect. No effect: I found out I could activate it as a trial. I did that. Effect: I used my Mullvad VPN on my laptop. To explain more in depth, if there are other newbies reading this in the future: I did not, initially, know I could access the webGUI from my laptop and run things there. I booted the Unraid server and selected the GUI option and I was in there. When I learned that I could access it from another device then the comments of using a VPN seemed much simpler. I turned on UPNP in the settings (not sure if that helped) and connected to the IP of the server (I had given it a static IP already). A note is that I couldn't, and still can't, access it with Firefox. I can however access it with Safari. When I had connected to the webGUI on my laptop I turned on my VPN and tried registering. It didn't work and I swapped location and tried again. This time it did work and registered, but failed to generate a key. Support was able to generate a key URL for me though. So now it's up and running. I'll mark it as solved.

(SOLVED) Cannot activate license - Post request required error message
Hi, I am finally trying to set up Unraid on my server after buying a license back in March. I configured the USB drive a little while ago and it's on Unraid 6.12.13. I am able to boot fine and I can open up the Unraid web GUI on the server where I am prompted for my registration key. I select the redeem option and use my redeem code. After logging in and filling out my address it always ends with this message: On here I have found a thread where a user deals with this problem. The mod suggests three things: Swap from Cloudflare DNS to default ISP DNS and flush DNS Disable ASUS router firewall If that fails, use a VPN I used Google's DNS but swapped it to my ISP default. I do not know how to flush DNS so instead I rebooted the Unraid server + my router. The firewall is also turned off. I am unsure where to use the VPN, so I haven't tried that. The user who had problems claims it was solved without them doing anything except updating to the latest Unraid version, I have that after some tinkering. I actually just made a new USB with it to be sure. I am a bit at loss as to how to proceed with activating my license, and I am grateful for any help. EDIT: Per a comment on Discord I did check whether or not Unraid has access to the internet. I am able to successfully ping google and github using the terminal. Just thought I'd add that.
