  1. This morning i managed to get the system to start but it hung right after log in, couldn't pull up logs or get the diagnostics. Decided to try putting one of my back-ups from last month on the usb to see what would happen. System booted up and i was able to poke around a bit with out crashing anything. Apps page didn't immediately cause an error, but once i updated it i did get a segfault error as before. Still on CPU 8. I did start the array this time, everything seemed fine. When i started the Docker service the system crashed. I have 2 new errors that have popped up, Jan 5 11:37:16 Gafftape kernel: SQUASHFS error: xz decompression failed, data probably corrupt Jan 5 11:37:16 Gafftape kernel: SQUASHFS error: Failed to read block 0x17de884: -5 My understanding of this one, from looking at previous posts on this forum (Thank you JorgeB), is that this could be a flash drive issue? The other error is Jan 5 11:45:36 Gafftape kernel: usb 1-2.2: USB disconnect, device number 71 Jan 5 11:45:39 Gafftape kernel: usb 1-2.2: new low-speed USB device number 72 using xhci_hcd Jan 5 11:45:39 Gafftape kernel: hid-generic 0003:0764:0501.0044: hiddev96,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Device [CPS ST Series] on usb-0000:00:14.0-2.2/input0 Not strictly an error, but likely related to the first one. Other info, OG usb drive was a type-c 3.1, new usb is a type-A 3.0. Once i had a fresh install on the type-A i was using a 2.0 port on the server. This morning when i got the old back-up to boot i had used one of the 3.0 ports. gafftape-diagnostics-20250105-1146.zip
  2. I wasn't able to recover logs from when i was getting the system freezes when trying to access the docker service. So it might have been happening then? In the above log, 3 of the Segfaults occurred when trying to load the Apps page. The first one happened when updating the Apps plugin. segfault at 11 ip 00000000008c353b sp 00007ffc1301d0a0 error 4 , the underlined portion of the error is different in all instances. All the errors happened on CPU 8. I think i have one log that showed errors on CPU 4. This morning the system isn't even starting. I've put the USB in my PC and it needed to be repaired. Debating if this is a hardware vs. software issue.
  3. Last month my server froze while i was trying to pause a docker container. Had to do a hard restart and had it happen again. Changed the start up to not boot the docker service on boot up. Was able to start and stop the array with no issue, started the array again and then started the Docker service and had the system freeze. Made a fresh USB with a new install. Unfortunately i didn't think to grab a Diagnostic off the old install. I do have a backup of it that i could put on the new USB. On the fresh install, it boots fine, array will start and stop. I have not tried to start the Docker service. I'm trying to not do more hard resets with the array running. If I open the apps tab an error pops up and asks me to refresh. The logs show a segfault error when i do this. "php-fpm[5913]: segfault at 2 ip 0000000000924960 sp 00007fff07539440 error 6 in php-fpm[600000+3c0000] likely on CPU 8 (core 16, socket 0)" Ran a Memtest that came back fine. I am unsure of where to go from here. Thank you for any help you can provide. -Gaff tower-diagnostics-20241220-1340.zip MemTest86-Report-20241224-163106.html
