    I recently moved everything over from one disk to another and then unassigned the empty disk. Rebooted and then was met with Kernel Panic I've looked at this thread but haven't tried it yet - should I try this. I can backup my flash drive first. I did try this adding root=sda but no luck. Any help much appreciated.
