  1. Hello JorgeB, Thank you! that was the issue. I am not familiar with how Unraid/Linux folder paths work. I saw the folder location when I was setting it up in the VM manager and figured that was correct. (Shown in screenshot). Once i switched to /mnt/user/ it moved forward. Makes sense why WIndows and Ubuntu would freeze. Thank you again!
  2. That screen shot was my last attempt out of about 50 tries. My original setup was with SATA and Q35. It does not change the current issue. Once I get to the install phase the VM will pause. VNC/Spice shouldn’t make a difference as it is only the KVM. I have also tried pinning different CPUs with no change.
  3. I have used UNRAID 6.8 for years with a few VMs and a large media storage (Windows and Ubuntu). I recently had an issue with a unassigned disk and I decided to upgrade to 7.0.0 With the new ver. I also decided to install new VM's, Win 11 and Ubuntu 24. I can load the disk and installation media. However, Once i choose the disk and begin the install the VM pauses. This is happening with Windows and Ubuntu. I tried many different combination of settings, increasing drive size (and browsers) but same result each time. I have included the log dump and a few screen shots (I realize the 64GB in the screenshot is small but I have also set to 200GB). Any help is appreciated.
