    I’m new here, but have been using NAS boxes at home for years. Most recently a Synology unit. Well, its about time to replace it and I manage to acquire a Dell T330 for literally nothing and decided I would dive right in on building my own NAS. UnRAID was the last stop in a journey that started with trying out all the other popular packages - TrueNAS Scale, OpenMediaVault, just straight up Ubuntu server with a dashboard, and none of them gave me the flexibility and ease of use I am finding in UnRAID 7. I am truly impressed and am having fun setting up this new (to me) home NAS server.
