It was the cable in the end. Also fair to mention, I disabled secure boot in BIOS. I did this prior to reporting the issue here.

I am running unRAID 6 with 3 HDDs in array and everything was working well. Next, I have purchased a LSI 9217-8i card to be able to plug in 8 HDD drives in the future. I have connected the PCIe card and reconnected my current 3 HDDs from the motherboard SATA connectors to the card via 8087 cable which came with the card. (Cable supports 4 drives, so one is unused) Once I restarted the unRAID, none of the drives are recognized by the unRAID. Then I booted in BIOS and the card is detected. What am I missing? What am I doing wrong? What additional configuration do I need to do? I am very new to this, so please help and be as explicit as possible.
