Hey all. I just wanted to share my current new build. My old server was a HKUXZR NAS Motherboard N5105 In a 3U server chassis. I wanted to add more storage but was limited. I did get my hands on a SuperMicro SYS-5018A-FTN4 Server with a 12 bay expansion I can add to it. After thinking for a few weeks I went with a Terramaster u4-423 with a d6-320 as future upgrades. I installed 32gb memory and a 1tb NVME for cache. The next was ditching the TOS and adding Unraid. I pulled my old USB from the old server and plugged it in without any issues. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. The transfer speeds are fine, Better then the old server. All the trays show up just fine. The only issue that I have is Emby with very long library scans, which has never happened in the old server. Anyway. I just wanted to share and get everyone's thoughts on this, Thanks for the read.
