  1. For the last 6 years, I have been running a Dual Xeon Supermicro server with FreeNAS. I set this server up myself by reading through their forums and with the help of a few contributors. It worked, but I was never able to get all of the dockers fully operational. The learning curve was just a little too steep to me. The Freenas server was hitting capacity on its drives so it was time to for a new build. Here is the new configuration for my new server: Asus Prime Z790 MB Intel I5 14500 64gb RAM DDR4 4 x 16tb drives on Array 1tb nvme as Cache for apps 2 x 1tb nvme array for data (cloud) 2 x 1tb SSD's array for data transfers (probably for torrents) 3 x 3tb spinners on ZFS array just to test - this is just a temporary array. There are another 6 x 8tb spinners on my old Freesnas system that I may migrate over to replace the 3x3tb spinner on ZFS. So far I have watched, rewatched and rewatched hours of Spaceinvader One videos. To my surprise, I was able to get up and running : Nextcloud - w\cloudflare - huge win for me as I was never able to get this running on Freenas Plex - (Plexpass -Life) - Plex wasn't complicated - it just took a long time to transfer my media files. My next project is qbitorrent. I watched the video by IBRAcorp "qBittorrent: How to Setup with Vuetorrent UI on Unraid" but I think it was a little dated. Hotio's version no longer has Vuetorrent embedded in it. Which is no big deal for me since its just a skin. Another dilemma I have is VPN service. I have a sub with NORD VPN which expires in August. I am considering making a change to PIA for their 3 year sub discount and since it is the preferred VPN (because of sponsoring, I take it) So the question I have is, should I stay with Hotis’s version and delete out the “Variables” field for PIA and then use the WEB UI to setup Nord VPN. I know this sounds silly but the guides I have been able to find are through the Web UI. I will be purchasing my license in 10 days. I have gotten further with this system in 20 days than I have in 6 years. I am not saying the other system is bad, but the combination of flexibility and social media support has been great.
