  1. I ended up using an external USB connection until I got the system up and installed the Plug-in for the Realtek drivers. I guess I have to wait for the AMD ones to become available. I did find drivers but I'm not a programmer and can't make a plugin for them.
  2. This is the most confusing BIOS I've ever seen. Maybe because it's not supposed to be accessed by a 'user' but there's nothing specifically that lists the NICs. The one thing I've been wondering - when I boot up and do an 'ip address show' There's a strange looking NIC that's listed as 'tun10@NONE'. I've never seen that before (and I support linux for a living). Is that causing me problems? I'm going to see if I can find the correct manual for this AMD Epyc processor and figure out which of these settings is related to the 5GB onboard Realtek NICs. The XGMAC NICs are pretty obviously listed with more settings than a standard user would need but it's enough to tell me that they're on or off. I had seen some things about issues with the Realtek so I'll see what I can find and disable them and try again. If not, I might have to recompile with the drivers(?), unless there's a beta version floating around that might have something in it.
  3. I don't really like the ADM software and want to install unRAID. I've tried a few different install attempts and can never get the NIC drivers to come up. I'm not sure if they're not there or just not loading for some reason. I tried TrueNAS but I don't like it either. What I've seen of unRAID is really what I'm looking for. My system has 4 NICs as follows: 01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8126 (rev 01) 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8126 (rev 01) e7:00.2 Ethernet controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] XGMAC 10GbE Controller e7:00.3 Ethernet controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] XGMAC 10GbE Controller I'm attaching the diagnostics file, which interestingly is not named what it should be. It DOES contain the correct files though. Please help. I really like like to get this going. zixCUVWY
