I fixed it the easy way: I made a backup using dd on a Linux machine, copied the image to another stick and did a "sudo fsck.vfat -a /dev/sdxx" on the original one. The fsck stated: There are differences between boot sector and its backup. This is mostly harmless. … Dirty bit is set. Fs was not properly unmounted and some data may be corrupt. Automatically removing dirty bit. … After that the repaired USB stick has booted Unraid without any problem and the system is running perfectly. With this "experience" I will backup the stick on a regular basis in the future. Thanks to all for your support!

The backup is old. Do I loose all th econfiguration work, when booting from that backup? (Oh no!) Where do I find the configuration stuff on the Unrain Boot stick? Can I copy it seperatly to a fresh USB-Stick from the old backup? Or can I execute the file "make_bootable" again without loosing the configuration?

I have a Zip-File with the whole content of the USB stick. Which way can I copy it on another devices, that it will boot agaain?

Today, I came back from work and my Mac Mini (intel) with Unraid was offline. Maybe because of a power outtake. Now, it will not boot unraid anymore. Normally after a reboot, i press "Alt" to see the boot menu and to select "EFI boot". This selection appears, but after selecting it and hitting "Return", nothing happens for 5 seconds. After that, the Mac is booting from the internal hard drive (with macOS, not Unraid). What can I do, Unraid is absolutly neccessary for my network. Please give me a hint! Best regards David

Danke für die Antwort! Ja, mittlerweile habe ich wieder alles gerade gebogen und für unraid selbst den DNS wieder auf die Fritz!Box umgebogen. Der nächste Boot steht noch aus, aber dass scheint es jetzt gewesen zu sein. Ich hoffe, dass ich da jetzt ruhe habe, sonst werde ich da noch mal ran müssen ;-)

Ich habe gerade auf 7.2.4 geupdated und bereue es bitterlich. Bei allen Dockern steht bei der "version" jeweils 'not available" und ein gebrochenes Kettensymbol. Ein Click auf "Check for updates" sucht und bringt das gleiche Ergebnis. Meine Nextcloud ist tot. Angeblich läuft sie, aber ich kann sie nicht erreichen. Nach einem Klick auf "WebUI" erscheint nach vielen Sekunden nur eine weiße Seite. Da ist echt viel Arbeit reingeflossen. Andere Docker-Container sind da, so etwa pihole und vaultwarden. was kann die Ursche sein? Wenn ich den Tab "apps" gehe, versucht unraid seinen Inhalt upzudaten. Das scheitert. Kann es sein, dass es keine gute Idee war, auf unraid den pihole als DNS einzurichten? Weil zum Bootzeitpunkt von unraid der DNS auf einen Docker-Container zeigt (pihole), der noch nicht läuft? So langsam deucht mir, das es eventuell daran liegt. Ist nur bisher nicht aufgefallen, weil ich unraid lange nicht neu gebootet hatte....
