    Good morning, I am planning on purchasing a license for Unraid following my trial and I wanted to confirm how the lifetime membership works. Given that the whole operating system runs on a USB stick, am I okay to upgrade the main components of the NAS over time or will that be seen as a different device? I eventually plan on replacing the motherboard, CPU and Ram over time but the HDDs will remain the same (until failure obviously). If that's the case, then in future if I want to use a PC case that supports 12+ drives, that is fine too as long as the OS is only running on one device with the original array? Many thanks!
