  1. Hi Itimpi and JorgeB! Ok, I then I guess I'll chalk it up to ZFS format. But there's no parity at the moment. That would still cause slow file transfer? Which drive format would allow for the fastest file transfer and and also be just as reliable as ZFS? I chose ZFS because I've heard it's the most secure and reliable drive format. But I could be wrong? Thanks,
  2. Hello all, So I've been dumping a lot of my files onto my new Unraid server. I have all drives utilizing ZFS format. I have "reconstruct write" turned on. Parity drive is currently cancelled until everything is in place. My transfer speeds are very slow. Avg is like 60MB to 80MB. It will jump up to like 130MB but then plummet to like 9 or 10MB. I don't know. I tried to ensure nothing would get in the way. The drives I have are both 5400RPM and 7200RPM. I'm running the file transfer using the built in Unraid Dynamix File Manager. To be completely honest, I would've been better off just using a separate Windows computer and logged into each share and just move files between shares as it probably would've pushed them faster. But really I'm not sure. Maybe someone could help me with this because these drives should be pushing like 250MB a second. Attached in a zip file of my logs (diagnostics). Perhaps someone can assist and take a look and let me know where to find the yellow brick road? Thanks, ei8htb8ll treasurechest-diagnostics-20250715-1541.zip
  3. Is there a file manager that does do logging I can download and install? Should I use something like FileBrowser-PNP or something? I really want to ensure that the files I carry over all make it in one piece.
  4. Hi JorgeB, So I simply used the built in Dynamix File Manager that comes with Unraid
  5. Hi all, New to Unraid Unleashed. I like it and it's fresh. But I have a question in regards to a huge data dump I just did from an external HDD. I transferred about 10.5GB of data to my new array and it took a couple of days. Once it was finished, I saw there was an error of too many characters or something from the file transfer. I minimized it, but now it's disappeared and I can't for the life of me find any logs of which it was related to. I'm looking for any file transfer logs from the disk transfer I just made and looking for any warning or errors. Where I can I find this? Mind you, the dump is complete, but not sure if there's any record of any of these errors. I looked in Logs, but couldn't find anything. syslog attached, but doubt you'll find in there what I'm looking for. Thanks, ei8htb8llsyslog.txt
