So I don't need to remove the defect disks from the config, just power off, replace, then new config ?

Thanks for your reply JorgeB ☺ Could you explain what "a new config" means ? I am quite new to Unraid and would hate to mess it up.

Version : Unraid v 7.1.2 I purchased 5x 12TB refurbished disks from Amazon for my very first Unraid server. After only a few days parity + disk1 began having bad sectors. Now I purchased 2X (new) 18TB disks as replacements, but I am unsure which is the correct method to replace them. I used Unbalanced to MOVE all data from DISK1 to other disks, so the disk is empty. My idea/guess is something like this : STOP the array REMOVE parity and DISK1 from array POWER OFF server Physically replace PARITY + DISK1 with the new disks POWER ON server ADD PARITY + DISK1 to array START array REBUILD parity Would this be correct and a safe way to do this ? Thank you for any help and guidance 🙌
