  1. Should it work in general? Like using 6 ssds in an array with one being the parity drive? Without overheating? I am on holiday right now, i will get a new Berlink Me Mini to try and see if the issue is a defective psu/mainboard. Greetings
  2. after Testing and reading it comes down to two possibilities in my opinion: 1st: a defective ssd is causing high power and the PSU shuts down. 2nd: the psu itself has a defect. As soon as the array is started the higher power demand forces it to shut down. unfortunately i cant really test it. Two SSDs (out of 6) are causing problems. One shows as a new drive. The array doesnt even remember it. The othe one is rememberd by the array. Since i dont want to lose my data, i cant use the new drive to test it out. I have to use the one, thats remembered, but as soon as i start the array, the pc just turns off. Both of the SSDs had corrupted data on it and were successfully repaired by the xfs repair tool on unraid (when attaching them through a usb-nvem-case, because connecting them within the array crashed the system). Background to my assumptions: My Linux system allows me to access data from 3 SSDs out of 6. One of the not accessibale is the parity, so i assume its normal not to see data when attached via USB NVME Case to another Linux system. 3 behave normal, i can see and use date from them. 1 doesnt even show up (just in disk tools, not within the file manager) and one someteimes lets me access the data. is there anything i can do, something i didnt think of? I have spent so much time in setting it all up and specially dont want to lose my data. Some is still accessible, but some ist lost so far.
  3. i think it was me. I noticed that plex wasnt working, logged in via my android phone, saw some errors and tried to reboot via webinterface. That was around 11:00 am. But nothing happened. When i arrived at home, the server was still running. Then i pressed the physical button on the server (around 14:00).
  4. Thanks for the quick response. I have attached the diagnostics zip. Greetings Stefan tower-diagnostics-20250824-2010.zip
  5. I am new to Unraid. I have bought a Beelink Me Mini and 6 SSDs. It ran pretty well until it started a paraty check last night. The System got pretty hot and the array reported errors, then it stopped the array. Two SSDs reported errors, one is recognised as a new device, the other one shows normal, but the array is stopped and i cant start it. If i want to start the array (without the damaged SSD) the system just shuts down. No error message, just no power, over and over again. As long as the array ist stopped, i can browse through the settings etc. Chrystal Disk Info reports "good" status, when putting them into an NVME-Case und pluggin it into my windows system per usb. I spent around 5-6 hours today trying to use different nvme slots, asking AI what to do etc... Can anyone help me, what to do next? It cost me a little fortune (6x4TBSSDs, Unraid Licence, Beelink-Mini-PC). Greetings and thanks in advance, if anyone can help. PS: i am off on holyday from Tuesday evening
