So to setup it I should use my personal account with the trial license ?

I'm not sure if I understand correctly. Are you suggesting that I set it up with a trial license using my account? Then, when I gift it to him, he will log in with his new account and use the activation code to license it?

I am relatively new to Unraid, but from what I understand, once the system starts, you need to log in with your Unraid account before beginning the trial or adding the license key. So, my question is: Should I use my friend's email to create an account for him, or can I proceed with the setup and everything else, and then replace my account with my friend's account later? The first option will be the least preferred as it is a birthday gift
