I have read many articles these days and finally successfully passthrough my AMD 8845HS with 780M iGPU to Windows 11 VM. Of course, like what many other experienced users, the annoying part is you cannot just restart the VM but need to restart the whole host, otherwise the Code 43 error will appear again. back to my situation, the audio part I tried to passthrough, I have used the ROM file for the Radeon High Definition Audio Controller, from Windows Device Manager it looks flaweless, the Display card and the sound device all without exclaimnation mark. But one thing is that, there is no output device windows can detects, the bottom righ hand corner speaker icon has a cross mark. And then I read many other articles saying that I also need to bind the AMD coprossesor to vfio, and then I do it, but the VM log stated that "Cannot reset device 0000:c9:00.5, depends on group 29 which is not owned." And then I found out what is group 29, it is "Encryption controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Phoenix CCP/PSP 3.0 Device" Once again I bind group 29 into vfio, but when I start the VM and check again the log, this time it says "Cannot reset device 0000:c9:00.5, depends on group 30 which is not owned." Then I found out this time for group 30, which is below, and the check box is deemed out, because this is the USB controller which is used by the host I worked until here, seem I have no other choice can do, any idea?
