Greetings, I put together my first home server and opted to use UNRAID. I've put together a few computers and managed to get the system up and running without much issue. One of my goals with the server was to use it as a media recording/streaming box. After an initial and successful set up and boot into UNRAID, I put in a Nvidia Quadro GPU to help with the media stuff. I started with the server off and put the GPU in the PCIE slot. (standard stuff) However, after i put the gpu into the system it did not appear to boot. I saw nothing through the GUI (new or old video port) and couldn't access it over the web. I hit the power button, let the server shut down, and took out the gpu. Rebooted and everything worked as expected. Repeat, but put the GPU back in the server. Same thing, nothing works. This time when i reboot without the GPU i get weird behavior. The system boots and seems to put full power to the fans for about 5 sec. Power stops, then the system goes into a boot loop that last about 5 seconds. The fans kick in at a low rpm but nothing else happens. I have troubleshot the other computer parts extensively. I've tried a different PSU, Processor, and RAM. I've also tried to reset the BIOS on the motherboard multiple times in different way without luck. I have confirmed the GPU works in another windows based system. I know this information is vague and may not be an issue with UNRAID. I reformatted my UNRAID boot drive before i started looking for help here so i have nothing to share with that. Does it sound like the Motherboard is bricked? Could this have been caused by an overzealous flip of a PSU switch during a normal shutdown? CPU: intel 10700 Motherboard: Gigabyte B460M DS3H AC (REV 1.0) Thank you to anyone that takes the time to read my nonsense and I'll cross my fingers there is a solution! (that doesn't involve a new board...)
