  1. Hello all. I'm fairly new to Unraid. I've had my server up and running without issues for 8 months, until now. Yesterday, while browsing the Unraid GUI, I noticed a red X next to my one and only parity drive. A quick Google search shows that it could be many things. Of course, my first instinct was a failed drive. But I went through the troubleshooting steps anyway. So far I: Stopped the Array Removed Parity Restarted the array without parity Stopped the array again Added parity again Started the array to rebuild And this is where we are now. The drive doesn't rebuild. The red x remains there. Full disclosure, my unraid server is a mini PC with 5 drives attached via DAS (Direct Attached Storage) hard drive enclosure. While the array was stopped and the server was powered down, I removed the drive several times and reinstalled it. I can't run a SMART scan either. Nothing happens when I try. Any help would be appreciated. tower-diagnostics-20260515-0803.zip
