Hello to all. I am Eddie. I have tinkered with PCs since my 486DX2 PC. I hook up my own routers and such, switches, and mesh networks, separated for cams and all. So I am not a TOTAL dummy. I have been trying to get my unraid server to run nextcloud for over 2 months, using only AI for guidance. I have tried so many models, cloud and local, and am simply tired of running in circles. In the beginning I told AI just to help me get it working. Lately I have told it to teach me how to get it working. For me, reading instructions is pointless. I can read something 10 times and still not tell you what I read. BUT, WHEN I DO something, ONCE, I usually grasp the information forever. This is I guess why I chose to be a Mechanic, wiring diagrams, and microfiche are EASY to me. I am using a PC I built to type this. A dual boot setup each OS is on its own SSD, and they share the HDD, Linux Mint and Win 11 pro. I used to root every Android phone I got to enable the hotspot, so I can follow guides such as the ones on XDA for rooting and other stuff. But there are no "guides" that I have found to help me with this server. I rescue feral cats, and have done so for 10 years. I want this server to eventually run a small website for my rescue. I have so many photos and videos stored in the "cloud" and I am SICK of paying each month when I have the same thing sitting on my floor, running, and cant use it... I put some screenshots of where i am now. I have less than 24 hours left on this trial and when I try to extend it, it says this is registered to another user.....maybe my other email? So I dont know what to do. ANY, helpful, suggestions, or advice will be GREATLY APPRECIATED. I really need some progress to stop me from just giving up all together. Thank you and God Bless EVERYONE.
