  1. Thanks JorgeB. A capability to be able to use TCP/IP to spin-up/spin-down would be very use full, at least to me.
  2. I am a long time Unraid user. I am 86 years old. I am able to write code in several languages but generally use Visual Basic since I am familiar with it and it has good/easy graphics. I have a large theater that is how I spent a lot of there using it. The theater operates completely using code in Visual Basic. All my movies are kept on an Unraid NAS. When I am ready to select the movie to watch, I need to wait for the NAS to spin up the drive I have selected. The NAS is holding over 700 movies. I would like to be able to spin-up the drives on the NAS while I am selecting what movie I want to watch. At one time many years ago I had an app I wrote that was part of the theater system. I had written an app that would spin up all or specific drives on Unraid while I was selecting a movie to watch. That version no longer operates. Basically it Used HTTP to send command to the NAS to spin the drives. At the current time the app returns from the NAS a 302 error. I would really appreciate if someone could advise me how to write some code that would allow me to spin up or down disks. I have the old version written In Visual basic and would give the app if they could help me. Thanks, Barry Gordon
