  2. I'm in the process of setting up my 1st Unraid NAS. - My current array has : 2x 16TB + 2x 8TB HDDs in XFS mode, no Parity - There is approx. 17tb of content on the array I'd like to assign one of the 16TB HDDs to parity. Obviously, since both 16TB drives contain data, Unraid refuses to start the array if I try to assign one of them as parity. What I think I need to do : - Use Midnight commander in console to move the data from one of the 16tb to any other drives in the array. - Once one of the 16TB hdds will be completely empty, Unraid should allow me to assign it to parity. Is this correct? Would help would be massively appreciated! :)
