  3. Migration Guide (v1.0.0 to v1.1.x) How to safely upgrade your v1.0.0 database to the v1.1.0 Multi-Tenant Architecture (Legacy migration) Because v1.1.0 restructures how users, workspaces, and permissions are handled, dropping a legacy v1.0.0 SQLite database directly into the new container can result in an empty dashboard. Follow these steps in your Unraid terminal to safely map your old data to the new schema: Step 1: Prepare the Legacy Database Ensure your EventSpace container is STOPPED. Open your Unraid terminal and navigate to your appdata folder: cd /mnt/user/appdata/eventspace Run this block to introduce the new workspace columns to your legacy data: sqlite3 eventspace.db <<'EOF' CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS Workspace (id TEXT PRIMARY KEY, name TEXT, createdAt DATETIME DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, updatedAt DATETIME DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP); INSERT OR IGNORE INTO Workspace (id, name) VALUES ('LEGACY_TEMP', 'Legacy Data'); ALTER TABLE Event ADD COLUMN workspaceId TEXT; UPDATE Event SET workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; ALTER TABLE CanvasNode ADD COLUMN workspaceId TEXT; UPDATE CanvasNode SET workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; ALTER TABLE Contact ADD COLUMN workspaceId TEXT; UPDATE Contact SET workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; EOF Step 2: Generate the Admin Workspace 1. Start your EventSpace container. 2. Wait 30 seconds for the backend to boot and auto-seed your initial admin account and default workspace. 3. Stop the container again. Step 3: Map Legacy Data to the New Workspace Run this block to grab your newly generated workspace ID and bind your old events to it: ADMIN_WS=$(sqlite3 eventspace.db "SELECT id FROM Workspace WHERE id != 'LEGACY_TEMP' LIMIT 1;") echo "Found Admin Workspace: $ADMIN_WS" sqlite3 eventspace.db <<EOF UPDATE Event SET workspaceId = '${ADMIN_WS}' WHERE workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; UPDATE CanvasNode SET workspaceId = '${ADMIN_WS}' WHERE workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; UPDATE Contact SET workspaceId = '${ADMIN_WS}' WHERE workspaceId = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; DELETE FROM Workspace WHERE id = 'LEGACY_TEMP'; EOF Step 4: Boot Start your EventSpace container. Your legacy events are now safely mapped to your new Admin workspace.

This thread is for support, updates, and database migration guides for the self-hosted EventSpace container. The transition to v1.1.0 introduced a major architectural change.
