  1. Swapping the SSD to one of the mobo's sata connectors did the trick. Still odd, but i guess roll with the punches.
  2. I had a "minor" issue after a series of blackouts. My USB key went bad and then shortly after my cache drive started to die. Cache drive was a 1st gen ocz vertex SSD. The cache drive would start to corrupt immediately after having the tree rebuilt. Yesterday I got fed-up and bought a new SSD. A sandisk 64gb (sdssdp 064g). This was a direct swap out and replace. Well it didn't work like that. The system this is installed is quite old and bodged together (it's in a gutted out original mac); unraid 5.0.5 Motherboard:D945GLF2 6 drives total, 2 drives are connected to the SATA ports on the mobo (only 2) 4 drives (including new cache, same port as the old unit) are connected to a sata expansion board (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4662523&CatId=1455) psu is around 200watts Everything has worked perfectly on this card until I swapped the drives. I have tried the old drive, a Samsung ssd and an old 2.5" Hitachi hdd I had lying around. All have worked. I suppose i could go and exchange the sandisk for something else if need be. Also the sandisk loads just fine on my mac(only computer at the moment) I have yet to try connecting the drive to the mobo directly and swapping around another drive. I'm at a bit of loss and could really some help figuring it out
  3. I like it - I like it a lot What's the catch? No catch, i've been using the mac client to access my server in canada from the netherlands for the past 1.5 months. LOVE it, and thought I'd share it with you all. Ps, sorry for the tardy reply.
  4. I thought I'd share with you all a Mac AirVideo Client I found, It works great. The Dev is a fantastic guy, there was an issue with the app crashing upon opening the server and he fixed it within 12 hours. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6713110/MacAirVideoClient/Site/Client.html Enjoy and pass it along!
  5. I just wanted to say thank you all for making this so easy! I'm a complete Linux noob and this was less painless to install then hooking my array up to the monitor. It works flawlessly I cannot thank all who developed this enough!
