I remember a while back a member was having trouble when running the mover script.
In that we put some directives to drop the cache before and after the mover ran.
It resolved his problem.
...
Interesting! Who would have guessed.

Has anyone run tunables.tester with the new 64bit unRAID?
Did it make a difference on the recommended tunables?
-
I already use unMENU and its package manager, will they work well together?
I don't know, sorry. Dynamix seems to be a 'branch' of the old SimpleFeatures that's fixed to work with 5.0...I can't speak to how it plays with unMENU.
The optional add-in plugins include cache-dir, SMART, email notifications, etc.

Can this be installed as a plugin or only as a GO-launched script?
Check out Dynamix, Bonienl's new web gui. Add-ins include cache-dirs

I wonder what this script would report for someone who has 32bit and 64bit builds of UNRAID?
I'm looking forward to finding out!

I just wanted to say thanks for all the work that has been done here. I ran this util a few months back and my supermicro X7SPA build went from an average read speed of 15megs a second I have experienced for the last few years up to 50! I just came looking for this thread to check for any updates and found it on page 3. It really should be stickied!
Agreed. When I setup unRAID, I used a 'rule of thumb' I found in the Wiki...I didn't try the tunables script until this month, but I'm seeing a similar 3x speedup on throughput.
VOTE on STICKY = YES. and add it to the unofficial documentation!
