  1. So after 5+ years using unraid I finally got my first disk error (lucky me). Log is showing I/O error Jan 9 05:54:37 unraid kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev sdb, sector 2360868272 Jan 9 05:54:48 unraid kernel: sd 9:0:0:0: [sdb] tag#0 UNKNOWN(0x2003) Result: hostbyte=0x00 driverbyte=0x08 Jan 9 05:54:48 unraid kernel: sd 9:0:0:0: [sdb] tag#0 Sense Key : 0x2 [current] Jan 9 05:54:48 unraid kernel: sd 9:0:0:0: [sdb] tag#0 ASC=0x4 ASCQ=0x0 Jan 9 05:54:48 unraid kernel: sd 9:0:0:0: [sdb] tag#0 CDB: opcode=0x8a 8a 00 00 00 00 00 8c b7 fd b0 00 00 00 08 00 00 Smart results look good for the disk. I have a spare disk. I'm thinking swap in the spare disk, do a rebuild, then pre-clear the "failing" disk to see if errors can be reproduced. If no more errors, reinsert the old disk. Is this the best way to go about dealing with this error? Any other recommendations? unraid-diagnostics-20190211-0046.zip
