I apologize for this downer of a topic, but recent events make it necessary.
Some of you may know that Dan Rosen, the owner and principal behind the VideoReDo software product, died recently. It was a sole proprietership, and with his death his company is also effectively dead and the software itself is probably on borrowed time.
While I liked Dan, the fact is I can, if I have to, convert to a different product with only minor inconvenience. The same can not be said of Unraid. If Lime Technology were to suddenly shut down, I would have major, major issues to resolve. So would many others. Thus my question: is there a business continuity plan in place such that the development and maintenance of Unraid will continue despite the death of any one or more principal people at the company?
Thanks!
