The smart report short and extended were both perfect so I'm going to give it a try in the server, thanks for your advice.

Its been ok for me up until now, the only thing thats changed is I'm now on 6.4.0. It even cleared an identical drive last week perfectly which is why I was a little concerned that the pre-clear failed, that and the fact it turned up in very poor packaging from Amazon. This drive was to replace one of my dual parity dives so I guess the risk of using it is pretty low overall.

Any opinions on this?

I used pre-clear on a new drive and have now got this result twice. Should I be concerned and back the drive or not?

Mine too, did it this afternoon, changed the firewall rules on the router to point to the new ip address and its accessible remotely too.

I already had the port forwarded and was still getting the error. I just swapped my Docker from bridge to host mode and it now seems to have gone.

I have a USG and am suffering the same issue. I have a few sites connected to my Controller on my Unraid and only after this last update has this Stun server port issue arrised. I have the following ports open in my USG forwarded to the Unraid on both TCP and UDP 8443,8081,8880,27117,3478,8080 They are just listed out as above in the USG, are you saying I should swap this to 8443,8081,8880,27117,-p 3478:3478/udp,8443,8081,8080 Will that work?

My server has been running fine for years now, a few VM's and a few Docker containers. No recent changes, a parity check a month ago was fine following a power outage/reboot. Tonight the kids were accessing the Plex Docker syncing some films to their ipad's for an upcoming car journey. They lost connectivity to the Plex server and after a bit of trying to restart the container, shut down all the containers and VM's and rebooted the whole server. Everything came up clean however when I go to the Docker tab in the web interface nothing comes up. I tried stopping and restarting the Docker service, the web interface tab disappeared and reappeared so it appears to be doing the right thing but still no containers showing in the tab. I checked the cache drive where everything lives and it all seems to be there. Any ideas please?

I have an existing two drive SSD cache pool with 2*480gb set for redundency, I have just pre-cleared another pair of drives (2*256gb) that I want to add to the pool to expand the size. Can somebody advise the correct procedure please.

I have a couple of win7 vm's and a win10 one that have been installed and working for months or more. This week when accessing via the web gui they are laggy, ie the mouse doesn't keep up, everything is slow to open. All are installed on my SSD cache drive. Any ideas please?

I came across this thread looking for an answer to why my win vms were all low res, they didn't used to be under the earlier unraid version but after the upgrade they were all only using the basic microsoft driver. This has fixed it but would be useful information in the setting windows vm's up faq.

Any news on the latest updated version testing?

I'm running the latest update and my server will no longer play anything. All the media displays correctly but nothing plays, even the stuff I played Wednesday evening so I expecxt its a server/unraid/plex version issue as its alwasy been ok before.o I think this is the oredr of events that has led to the issue. This week I updated unraid to 6.1.8 and plexpass to the newest one. This broke plex for me but 6.1.9 fixed it that next day. That night played a film (wed). Nothing has played since but I can see all the libraries on all my devices. I also have Emby server installed and that is working fine but i prefer Plex. I'd like to try rolling Plex back a version but Im not sure how in this docker senario so any tips please?

I just use the Windows discovery tool to assign the AP and then let the controller running on my Unraid pick it up. If you already have the AP set to a different controller, just press the reset pin and start again with a discovery tool. The chrome extension looks useful though, will try that next time.

This is working fine for me, I'm not much help as not very technical but the only observation I can add is that it takes a while to start up before being able to reach the web interface (not that that sound like th issue).

Thanks, thought that would be the case. Any idea why I cant seem to put the password in in Putty. I havent used it before but entered the ip address and reached the AP. Entered the username and then it asked for the password with a flashing green square but wont go any further/accept any input?

Is it still port 8080 if I have remapped 8080 to 8082 in my docker setup?

Well, the reiserfsk has recovered many files so all is not lost but they are all jumbled up and its going to take a lot of sorting through folders. Not the end of the world but I may have another easier possibility. I have a backup(ish) that's a bit old that was put on a partition that had windows home server on the system partition and that is now broken. The data is accessible when plugged into my machine as a slave drive but won't copy because the reparse points are broken, I get a "the system cannot access the file" message. My question is if I mount it into unraid or another linus distro under ntfs will it ignore this reparse requirements?

WHS just use NTFS across a "D" drive that is split across whatever drives you have told it you have, in my case just a single 1.5tb seagate. I have been careful to keep my options open and not write to either drive at the moment. Do you have a recommended undelete/recovery program?

All on one drive in this case, just 112448779, 2556 /sec to go....

Thanks for your replies chaps, that gives me a couple of options becuase synctoy messed up my whs and the unraid backup (well I did) and deleted it on the unraid and synctoy removed it from my WHS I'll let you know how get on, I've just started the reiserfs on the unraid....
