    XFS Folder deleted - Anyway to recover

    I should learn not to do file management while tired.

    I was moving files from my windows system to the server and thought the folder I was moving from was highlighted and I hit delete. I have now deleted a rather large directory on the server.

    Is there any way to recover these files?

     

    If not is there any way to see what files were deleted so I can see if there is a way to get them again?

     

    I understand I brought this fully upon myself, and if it's gone forever it's a learning experience like no other...

    I got over 90% recovery when I did the same thing to my TV share, which spanned 7 drives.

    [SOLVED] License file not being picked up

    Hey guys,

    Just setting up a fresh set up and it isn't picking up my license file. I pasted the URL into the Key File URL area and it comes up with Error (4). I checked the USB afterwards and it did download, or at least partially downloaded, pro.key onto the USB stick but it doesn't go anywhere from there.

    Is your pro.key file in the config directory on your flash drive?

    I didn't see the comments about the script failing with 6.1+, and got the

     

    /root/mdcmd: No such file or directory

     

    failures so I ^C'd out of the script.  Does anyone know if I need to restore any configuration values due to prematurely exiting out of the script?

    Nothing gets changed until the very end when it asks you to change values, and then confirm. You are safe.

     

    For what it's worth I re-downloaded the txt file in the first post, and using notepad I did a search and replace of /root/mdcmd to the new path, saved it to my flash drive and then ran the script.

     

    ...and what is the "new path" ?  :o

    Can the author modify this Script for v6.1.4 please?

    after I upgraded to beta 13 and beta 14 now. And there is no other way to get it back than to powerdown -r

     

    I had to disable page update frequency under Display Settings to keep my webgui working...

     

    Before that, it might last an hour or so before becoming totally unresponsive.

     

    Been up with no problems since (10days)

    Is there a web based preclear wrapper with this webgui ?

    I would guess there won't be... not after this

     

    Although I'm sure you think you've made me happy, you have not. 

    Please write your own preclear script and support it.  I do not support you using mine....

     

    Please remove my code from your plugin.  You do not have my permission to use it.    Write your own d*** script.
