  1. The real question for me personally with dual parity coming soon, is if parity+btrfs disks can be used to repair bitrot.
  2. The other thing to take into account is that BIOS (and BIOS emulation) will deprecate at some point. Its better to be ahead of the curve than chasing behind it IMO.
  3. Sorry to be a pain, but any chance you could add Smuxi to your repository. I'd use another one, but like your arch base image (and I'm being somewhat lazy to do it myself) > <.
  4. One of those being a pain things, but if you could look at dockerising Smuxi that'd be great .
  5. i think this is due to the umask issue discussed earlier in this thread, im assuming your seeing the read only issue when using a mac, right?. i have done a quick investigation into this, and whilst you cannot set the umask for deluged, it is possible to set the umask for supervisor child processes, which in essence SHOULD do the same thing, yay :-). so ive tweaked the base image to include this new global setting, please can you do an update on delugevpn and tell me if it fixes the issue, you most probably will need manually set the permissions once more, after that the umask should be set correctly for any future downloads. Windows user . Still on your normal deluge docker (have grand plans on presenting openvpn as a network option and routing the docker traffic thru there, so yet to try it sadly). When I flick over to your vpn version I'll give it a shot
  6. I'm kind of unsure on this one, but an annoyance I find is that your downloaded files frequently get appended with only read access for everyone but what the docker is running as. Is there anyway around this?
  7. Minor thing, but the default Madsonic docker points to the wrong port as its WebUI port.
  8. Nothing constructive, just a thank you. Have been using your docks for a good few months and quite like how cleanly packaged they are. Keep up the great work .
  9. I know some will deride this, but one of my favourite packers (who uses arch as a base) just released this in the last few days. https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/binhex/arch-delugevpn/ Haven't had a chance to have a look yet, but could be interesting. Considering he packages very well, could be a nice solution.
  10. I seem to have a problem with alot of my files becoming restricted to Unknown User. Doing a permissions repair fixes this, but assume its related to the user security setting of the docker container? Also, anyone had any luck routing Deluge or NZBGet only out thru a VPN (leaving the rest of the system's traffic normal). At the moment that would be a perfect scenario (only option I think of how to achieve that atm is a vm with openvpn nzbget and deluge only, and another vm\docks with plex\couchpotato\etc) Anyway, thanks for the docks anyway

    Extra redundancy

Sorry if this sounds silly, and being new I'll take that charge, but wouldn't the best way to have extra redundancy to leverage in-built striping and mirroring in btrfs? Either let us mirror or stripe the pool (I know, somewhat against the unRaid ethos here), or allow mirroring of parity drives.
