Thanks for the replies. As long as the price for RAM on this beast isn't insane I plan on upgrading it to at LEAST 8GB. MY current NAS is running OpenFiler and only has 2GB of RAM and it runs great.

The SAN came with 2GB RAM. What is the minimum recommended for UnRaid? My SAN has 12x 1TB drives.

That's what I plan on doing if nobody has done it already. Figured I might as well not waste my time if someone has tried it already and the answer is "no". I don't mind being the guinea pig.

New to Un-Raid and I have just acquired a Xyratex HS-1235E from a friend. Anyone know if Un-Raid will work with it?
