  1. I was following this guide to set up the big 3 for movie and tv automation http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Setting_Up_SABnzbd,_SickBeard,_and_CouchPotoato My last input command was: "installplg couchpotato_v2_unplugged.plg" during the process it was deleting a whole crap load of stuff which I thought was odd - but at the end is 'installed'. I then tried the other two: "installplg sabnzbd_unplugged.plg" "installplg sickbeard_unplugged.plg" and it gives me the error: usr/bin/php: error while loading shared libraries: libsqlite3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory At that point, I rebooted the machine, and now when I navigate to //tower on my laptop, the monitor connected to unraid gives the same error. Luckily, I'm a newb to all this and trying to get unraid set up before i start storing data, so worst case scenario - how do I even handle a format/refresh?
  2. I plan on having a 4tb + 3tb as storage. Just looking for recommendations, am I thinking right, etc...and a better understanding of when/how disks are being used to increase the life of the drive. [*]Should I designate 1 drive to be movies and another for TV? (my reasoning is I watch TV more often then movies, so I would use the hell out of the TV drive instead) or will this be pointless next year once I add a 3rd drive... [*]...Just let unRaid put it where it wants to? [*]Should thumbnails be placed on my cache drive along w/ my other pathsubstituions (playlists, mediasources, etc.)? [*]I'm curious, what is your folder structure? I'm thinking - unraid/media/tv, unraid/media/movies, /unraid/My Docs, /unraid/software, etc...
  3. I plan on jumping to unraid in the next couple weeks but I want to make sure I buy the proper equipment for my setup. I currently have about 3.5 tb of data on a 4 tb drive (Drive A). I also recently got a 3tb drive (Drive B) that is empty and ready to put in the unraid. So from my understanding is this the right way to handle my situation (ignore the data transfer and handling, that may be a separate topic): Purchase a 4 tb (Drive C) or less drive Preclear all 3 drives Assign Drive A as parity Assign Drive B & C as storage Essentially, Parity >= largest Storage drive
  4. I plan on having a 5 tb Parity drive, and 2 separate drives w/ media possibly totaling 9 TB. So this is 3 drives. I read you want SAB/Sickbeard/addons/etc. Installed on another drive (is this called the cache drive)?. So is sounds like I will need 4 drives, So if I stick w/ v5.x, I'll need to shell out $69?
