I got one of these boards about a week ago and are performing some tests right now. What I can say for sure is that it's "only" an 8-SATA board. 6SATA on the ICH-10 chipset and 2 (usable) on the JMB323 chip. LAN-ports are working great. USB-boot works. My build will run unRAID together with vm-ware so my specs are perhaps a bit high, but here they are: Mainboard: GA-EP45-DQ6 CPU: Intel C2D E8600 Mem: 4x2GB DDR2 SATA-controller: Adaptec-1430SA (PCIe x4) Case: Norco-4020 Drives: 10x500GB WD RE2-GP + 1x1TB WD Black as cache-drive (hosting VM-ware) //Peter

I wonder if the teaming function can be disabled so that all 10 ports on the motherboard are useble... As I understood from the manual you could at least use 2 of the 4 ports without the RAID1 function... //Peter

Anyone using a 8-port SATA controller with unRAID? I have one PCIe x4 slot, two PCIe x1 slots and one ordinary PCI slot left on my mainbord. Any recomendations?
