i replaced the Ram Chips this morning.

I have been getting some emails for a few days from my unraid server. it goes like this. to: root bcc: (my email address) Subject: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/monitor &> /dev/null Body: /bin/sh: line 1: 31942 Segmentation fault /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/monitor &> /dev/null i have no idea why this is getting sent from my server. can someone shed some light on it.

i was using chrome. so i tried firefox. its definately not the browser. i have 2 shares not showing up but the data is still on the disks. not sure how to get my shares to show up so i can get the data working in SMB. i have a error in the log file that says xfs_log_force: error -5 returned.

turned off ad blocker. everytime i try to add the share it says the share "Video" has successfully been deleted

i went in to modify a share on my unraid server. it is essentially where i keep all my videos. for whatever reason when done it said the share has been successfully deleted. freaking out i found that the data is still on those folders if i look at the data on the drives. not sure what the problem is but the share will not show up. i also reluctantly tried to recreate the share but it just doesn't work. i can see and download the data that is on the individual disks. but that is a little counter productive. what can i do to get the share back?

nevermind. idk what happend. but i bravely browsed to the duplicate share using smb. deleted all the contents which was just another directory called video. and then i was able to delete that share. now all works fine. whatever. that was weird.

So, i have a 14 disk array. i removed a drive to insert a bigger drive. after they system came back online, i started the rebuild. but now, the shares page shows 2 shares of the same name. one has a capitol V for Videos. which i can tell has all my data. and one has a lower case v. for videos. there is also randomly an appdata share. not sure about why that is there. can someone help me? problem is i also can't browse to my data using smb. only through the explorer on the browser in the unraid web interface.

I am trying to get a box going but i am having some difficulties. got the USB drive to boot and it gets to root. i can see the unraid server on my network when i scan the network. but i cannot browse to it. i thought that i needed to install unmenu but i think that is a separate add on. not sure what i am doing wrong here. i also tried to copy the unmenu_install script to my flash drive into a directory called unmenu but that doesn't seem to work when i type cd /boot/unmenu. i am seriously a noob so maybe i am doing this all wrong or maybe i have the wrong hardware. hardware specs. gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 Intel Core I3 4GB Ram 5 Sata hard drives
