  1. My server had safely shut itself down due to a power outage (UPS). Once I turned it back on, I seemed to have lost my Unassigned Device share in Windows file explorer. I have the share button turned on and can see the UD SSD and all the files contained in it in Krusader.

My server has been running pretty flawlessly for a couple of years so I have lost some of technical knowledge of unraid.

    Please help. Thank you friends

  2. Sorry for the late reply, with everything going on I really didnt want to deal with this issue until recently.

But I want to thank you very much for recommending UFS Explorer. It was able to read and recover the files off of the "bad" drive.

  3. HI all, so i think I goofed up a storage drive. I came home really tired and half asleep and when I logged into my server webgui, I said that one of my disks had become unmountable. Of course I wasnt thinking straight and accidently formatted the disk. I realized what I had done right away and once it had finished I immediatley shut down the server.

So I wasnt able to find a topic that would help me, so the question is, is it possible to rebuild the data on the drive or on a new drive, or did I mess this up?

I have a dual parity machine.

    Thank You

  4. I recently transferred my unraid server into another case. After doing so, I was having trouble starting the tautulli docker. after uninstalling, I couldnt edit my existing dockers, reinstall tautulli,  or install any dockers at all. It seemed that the dockerman/tautulli.xml file in the usb boot drive was corrupt and deleting it seemed to fix my issues. But now, after reinstalling the tautulli docker, I am unable to get the app to communicate with my plex server. all the settings look correct, but there are errors and warnings in the logs. Looking to see if someone could help me. would a text file of the logs help out?

  5. I was on unifi controller version 5.7.20 on another PC. I installed the unifi docker for unraid and tried to use the backup file, but stated that the file was for a newer version of unifi and wouldnt be able to use it. What version of the controller is the docker app at? hoping to downgrade the previous controller and re download the backup file.

  6. Just tried this on my laptop and the transfer speeds were good over wifi, and it got me thinking. I was running out of ethernet ports on my wireless router and decided to kill to birds with one stone and install a switch (TP-LINK TL-SG108) right before I had to update and reboot. Anyways, I went to look at the LED of the ethernet port for my main PC and it was only in orange (10/100). My unraid server was still at green (gigabit). I disabled the nic on the PC and enabled wifi. I transferred a file and sure enough it was going at 50mb/s. I make my own ethernet cables and the one made for my main PC tested good but was not giving gigabit speeds. I changed to a new cable and now its fine. was just a new cable anomaly, it happens.

Thanks for for your suggestion and help trurl.

  7. not sure if its something I did or after i upgraded to unraid 6.1.6, but now my transfer speeds (write) from my main PC HDD to an unraid share over gigabit network is stuck @ 10-11 mb/s. Before it would vary from 70 to 25mb/s, almost always at the higher speeds. I have included the diagnostic zip and will include my system info. Any help is appreciated. Sorry if this isnt much info, its my first post. Thank You unraid community.
