I've never had to do it, but here is the process for running reiserfsck. https://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Check_Disk_Filesystems#Running_reiserfsck Since it is prompting you to --rebuild-tree it sounds like you need to. But you may have some file damage.

On my recent install I was having similar issues. I discovered IOMMU was disabled by default on my mainboard, enabled it and that immediately cleared up the issue.
