There were not too many issues with mounting. Everything lined up on the left and bottom of the motherboard. For the other sections where the mounts did not align I installed rubber mounts. Mounted the extra drives to the other side of the case. Two are mounted to the back grill. Two are in the 5.25 bay with the Evercool Dual 5.25 to triple 3.5.

Hello everyone, After following the post about cheap Xeons I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get access to power far more than I currently need. But it is nice to have that wiggle room. Going to share a small build log. Below is the current setup. Top system is the unRaid is a DS380 case. Bottom system is the Windows 7 server in a Corsair 540. Going to tear both systems apart just to salvage the hard-drives and video card. unRAID (DS380) CPU/Motherboard: ASRock Intel Avoton C2750 RAM: Crucial 16GB Kit ECC Power Supply: SilverStone Technology 500W SFX-L HardDrives: Samsung Evo 840 - 250GB x2 Corsair Force LS - 60GB Western Digital RED - 6TB Seagate - 4TB x4 Windows 7 (540) CPU: Intel i7-930 Motherboard: EVGA FTW3 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 12GB Video Card: EVGA GTX-580 Power Supply: Season Platinum 860W HardDrives: Samsung EVO 830 - 120GB x2 Western Digital Blue - 250GB x2 I was planning on using the power supply but I had an issue with getting a second EPS power connector. These are the new parts that are going into the system. AHHAHHAHHAHA it LIVES!!! I feel the same way. All this power will sit idle 80% of the time, might as well use it for good. What do you guys use to fold? VM or Docker?

Oh. Would I be able to move the appdata to the cache after the move and have the /config in the dockers point to the new location?

Hello Everyone, I am doing a system rebuild and I am curious on what happens when I change cache disks and what happens to my dockers. I know the first step is to take an image of all the disk locations before the move so you can put them back in the same location. However, not a 100% sure what I am suppose to do with the docker image. Currently have 2-240GB a 1-60GB SSDs as cache. The new system will have 2-240GB and 2-120GB SSDs. Is it as simple as just copying the image over or is there something else I need to do? Thanks.

Just use Windows 7 with Spigot MC.

If you are talking about the connector itself, look on the other side (Opposite of print). There might be a small engraved arrow that is pointing down. That should be +.

Roughly the same thing. NAS and media server (Hopefully I can jam 4 more HDDs into my case). Biggest reason for the dual socket is that I plan on merging my minecraft server with this system. Then adding more VMs for testing purposes.

Pretty nice setup. I just ordered the board recently and should be getting it tomorrow. Have you tried using the SCU ports that are on it?

Oh nice. So it works in a sense of RAID 5(6) where the tolerance is 1(2) but doesn't write the parity across all disks. This in turn would reduce the workload of said disks since not all of them have to be active for the parity to be written or be rebuilt. Might make the switch over to unRAID sooner than I thought. Just need to some research on filesystems. Thanks.
