have you chosen standard usb cable in the setup options not the smart one ?
  4. Same here. It has happened with with all 6.1 and 6.2 versions I have used
  5. Since 6.2 is available to all, would it not be sensible to add a 6.2 verified child board to the plugins sub forum ?
  6. not had time to set it up yet hope to rectify that this week
  7. Wd red drives are sold as 24/7 drives. Unless you are concerned about power usage just leave them spun up. I have drives that have been running 24/7 for 3-4 years with no issue and they where just standard desktop drives.
  8. So they can charge loads for support calls
  9. If you look at the link in the second post of this thread it tells you how to do it basically 1/ stop the ups software in unraid 2/ ssh into unraid 3/ run apctest chose option 10 4/ wait
  10. Did you cary out a full battery calibration ? The one where it runs the batt down to 25%
  11. Probably also a good idea to check the actual battery pack it is made up of 2 battery and may have a bad connection between them
  12. Not sure about the not recognising the new battery properly but I can tell you that the BATTDATE 2009-09-26 has no effect on the ups function and is a field you change manual if req using the command line tool. Did you hot swop the battery if so you sometimes will need to do a self test for it to register the new battery Also look at the apctest section on this page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/apcupsdit tells you how to set battdate and recalibrate the battery etc. In order to run apctest, you must first stop the ups stuff in unraid
  13. Ok deleted Looks like the find command was a red herring. It was part of the cachdir plugin I installed to try and sort the problem Now to see if the disk spin down
  14. Hi That is the strange thing all my apps are set to use cache only and are configured to look in /mnt/cache/appdata, and show this is what is being used according to the open files plugin for everything but this one find command. There is an appdata folder on the spinning disks but it is and always has been empty. Should I delete it ?
  15. I have an issue with one of my disks not spinning down. All my dockers etc are set to cache only but I seem to have a rouge "find" command related to plex, which instead of looking directly in cache is using /user/appdata and it keeps one of the disks spun up. I have attached some screen shots of the issue and diagnostic log Sorry its so big the pid changes all the time as it keeps re running Any ideas home-diagnostics-20160220-0753.zip
  16. Not sure exactly the vm you have but I used the guide here to convert an esxi win7 image to run on unraid kvm pretty easily http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/UnRAID_Manual_6#Windows_7_Conversion_Procedure
  17. Depends on the performance you want. I will be using a E3-1265LV2 which is a 2.5Ghz 45w tdp xeon
  18. Just order one from this eBay link £65 including delivery to UK and no import charges http://www.ebay.com/itm/171845272614
