[M.2 SSDs - QNAP QM2-2S]

Hi Guys,

 

Has anyone tried the QNAP QM2-2S card as a host device for Cache drives? https://www.qnap.com/en/accessories/

 

I have a G8 Microserver, and I'm thinking of this as a way to host a pair of cache drives, in a slightly better way than I do now (2 * 2.5" SSD rammed into the ODD bay...).

 

Anyone know what the chipset is?

 

They are only AU$100 here in aus, which is a good price IMHO...

I just installed this, and I followed Pducharme's instructions to setup the properties file and it worked just fine. I did it by ssh-ing into unraid and using:

 

cd /user/appdata/unifi-video

sudo touch system.properties

sudo nano system.properties

 

and added the required line.

 

However, i could not get cameras to reliably connect to the docker.

 

I ended up installing a Ubuntu VM and running it on that and it works perfectly. Perhaps a port forwarding issue?

Silly question, perhaps, but does this guide assume your CPU has VT-d support? Does this work if you only have VT-x?
