  1. Hi Guys, Has anyone tried the QNAP QM2-2S card as a host device for Cache drives? https://www.qnap.com/en/accessories/ I have a G8 Microserver, and I'm thinking of this as a way to host a pair of cache drives, in a slightly better way than I do now (2 * 2.5" SSD rammed into the ODD bay...). Anyone know what the chipset is? They are only AU$100 here in aus, which is a good price IMHO...
  2. I just installed this, and I followed Pducharme's instructions to setup the properties file and it worked just fine. I did it by ssh-ing into unraid and using: cd /user/appdata/unifi-video sudo touch system.properties sudo nano system.properties and added the required line. However, i could not get cameras to reliably connect to the docker. I ended up installing a Ubuntu VM and running it on that and it works perfectly. Perhaps a port forwarding issue?
  3. Silly question, perhaps, but does this guide assume your CPU has VT-d support? Does this work if you only have VT-x?
  4. Thanks John_M, In your G8MS, do you find that having a non-HP sata card causes the fans to spin up? I've flashed my bios to the latest, which fixed the AHCI fan noise issues using the B120i, but I've read reports that a non iLO compatible PCI card can cause a fan speed issue also. Cheers
  5. Hi all, I'm running unraid on a Gen8 microserver, which is working great. I'm looking to move to a mirrored cache setup, and for that I need some additional SATA ports. I originally thought about buying a P420/P222 and going down that road, but I think in the end I'm never going to need that many connections in a microserver, so to save space and power, what I'd like to do is use a pair of mSATA SSDs for cache. It will fit neatly in the case, the price premium on mSata vs 2.5" SSD is workable, and it saves me having to get some more power connectivity internally I've found a few dual mSata to PCIe cards, including some that have a sensible x4 connection. Does anyone have any experience with these in unRaid? Am I going about this the wrong way? Thanks,
  6. There seems to be a vast difference between CPU load reported on the dashboard and whats reported in the Stats tab. I'm currently seeing 75-85% CPU usage on dashboard, and 4% on Stats. The stats page makes more sense, as the only thing the server is currently doing is writing zeros to a single disk (all dockers and VMs are stopped). I'm running a Gen8 w/ 2020T. Any reason for the discrepancy you can think of?
