  1. Thanks, in the end I installed an HBA that was known to work instead. Cheers
  2. Hello, We installed unRAID pro on a SuperMicro server with a MegaRAID SAS 9361-8i card. While the card seems to have JBOD mode and I set all drives to JBOD, the drives aren't recognized. I've attached my diagnostics file. Given that the following line is in the hardware devices list: 02:00.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS-3 3108 [invader] [1000:005d] (rev 02) My questions are simple: does this mean the driver is installed or merely that the hardware is detected? If the latter, how do I know if the driver is installed? Thank you diagnostics-20161012-1459.zip
  3. Thanks, that's quite helpful! I'd did a few searches but didn't find that thread! Thanks a lot.
  4. Hello, This is my first time using unRAID and my experience is relatively limited in these matters, but hopefully you can help me! I have a supermicro server (MB: X10DRi-T) with the disks being connected through a raid card (LSI MegaRAID 9280-4i4e). We bought a Lime-Tech USB stick with a Pro license and it boots fine, but it can't see the disks as available to add to the unRAID array. After setting the server bios to AHCI mode or IDE or even RAD and defining some hardware arrays, the OS still doesn't see anything. So I have a few questions on my mind on what might be happening: - Does unRAID require new drivers for my particular card? - If so: do I need to rebuild the kernel or is there a simpler way to add drivers? - If not, will I need to flash my card into IT mode to be able to see the disks as JBOD? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
