    VM startet nicht mehr

    Hallo,

     

    fast am Ende des Startvorgangs der Unraid Server (ab V6.9.3, kein UEFI) schaltet die angezeigte Schriftart in einen kleinen Anzeigemodus - ungefähr so als wenn ich den UEFI Modus aktiviere. Ich nehme an das der trotzdem aktiviert wird, den es ist keine VM ums verrecken mehr zum Start zu bewegen: weder im bisherigen Seabios und schon gar nicht im OVWF weil die alten Karten kein UEFI unterstützen. Aber eine NVIDIA 960 startet auch in keinem der beiden vBIOSe.

    Weiss jemand warum offenbar in den UEFI Modus geschaltet wird obwohl nicht aktiviert?

    Hallo mgutt,

     

    ich danke Dir zwar für den Hinweis wo die Einstellung zu finden ist,

    allerdings kann ich des Häckchen rausnehmen und >>Anwenden<< drücken sooft ich will - es bleibt beim erneuten Aufrufimmer wieder aktiv.

    Man stelle sich das mal bei einem einfachen Lichtschalter vor.

    Warum suchen diese Scriptschreiber nicht einen anderen Job wenn sie es nicht hinkriegen das solche Einstellungen nicht funktionieren wenn man sie setzt?

    Hallo,

    mit den bisherigen 6.10 rc-Releases läuft das System immer in den UEFI-Modus hinein - egal ob man beim USB Unraid Stick nicht erlaubt hat.

    Das hat bei meinen 2 Unraid-Rechnern den schönen Effekt, das die SeaBios basierenden VM's die Grafik nicht mehr durchreichen. Und eine installation einer neuen OVMF-Maschine mit Passthrought geht auch nicht.

    Weiß jemand ob das einen tieferen Sinn hat oder ist das einfach Unfähigkeit das zu berücksichtigen?

    Hi lads,

     

    I use the 6.3 rc5 version.

    I missing all icon from the vm tab. Also i can't create a new libvirt. the files of the vm's are existing.

    If i gone back to a previous version the complete vm tab is missing - so that i have the rc5 version again but an empty tab

    witout icons  :-\.

    mmmmh... what can be done? How can I rebuilt the icons?

    i missed the symbols and my virtual machines in the vm tab..? :(

    the VM tab is empty, but the vm file are existing too.

    i use the 6.3 rc5 version

     

    I have experimented with the libvirt......mmmhhh

    Hi lads,

     

    yeah the problem are the sound cards. to disable the onboard is no option because the (2nd) nvida  has no function , i will not the nvidia!!!

    sorry , but malfunction on kvm is a no go area for the professional area,

    I'm start the win7 vm from an unassigned nvme- after the update to rc4 this:
