  1. Sorry to double post but it I got finally got data onto disk3 using usershares! I simply restarted the array, when I shutdown the array the filesync did take a while. I'm none the wiser!
  2. Yes I set the min free space setting relatively high to try and get things moving to disk3. I have 38gb and 46gb free on disk1 and disk2 respectively. Disk 3 has 2.99TB free. I just tried setting the split level on films to blank and writing a test file and invoking mover manually. Unfortunately its had no effect:
  3. Yes correct. Yes correct. Yes I have TV and Films set to 100000000. Here's a few examples of the folders that are residing on my cache and not moving: \\TOWER\cache\TV\Vikings\* \\TOWER\cache\Films\Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)\* Excuse the windows paths but you get the idea. In those instances, neither of those folders exist on disk 1 or 2, so should write to disk 3. I changed the owner and permissions with a command I found on the forums, "newperms /mnt/disk3". I thought that'd deal with it? I'd want to avoid doing the permissions on the cache disk where I have apps installed.
  4. Hmm I tried increasing my split levels, I set the Films usershare to 2 and TV usershare to 3 but I still have items on my cache drive not copying over. Mover script is giving the same errors on both films and tv. My split levels have always worked in the past, putting each film onto a different drive and putting each series on to a different drive. What's weird is when I manually copied over a TV show myself it doesn't show in the usershare even though it's on the disk, it's like the usershares are ignoring disk3 all together. Could this be a permissions issue?
  5. Thanks I double checked that, I haven't used any "includes" or "excludes" in either the share or the global share settings. It's a weird one!
  6. I'm having an issue getting a newly installed disk to be written to via the usershares. The new drive has been precleared and added to the array. I can write to it through the disk share and copy data via mc. My setup is 3x3TB drives, a 3TB parity and a 500gb cache drive. I have a usershare for films and a separate one for TV. Running v5 beta 14. I have my TV shows set up split level 2, using high water and 100000000 min free space in the format: "Series\Season". I have Films set to High Water, 100000000 min free space and split level 1. Both disk 1 and disk 2 were about 95% full so I tried manually moving some series over using mc. However they didn't show up in the usershare so I copied of them onto a local pc and back to the tower. Now I have that test series sitting on my cache drive throwing up errors. Both drives 1 & 2 are sitting at 99% free and drive 3 is sitting pretty. Any clues?
  7. I've just rebooted the server and it's working now! Not sure why or what's going on with it. There's also a new log file which has appeared, previously I only had 4 logs on the webserver page, now I have 5.
  8. Thanks ran the permissions script and no change. I also redownloaded the tgz file and reinstalled the plugin. No change it still won't start
  9. The www folder exists, which other folders would I need to create?
  10. Doesn't appear to make a difference. It still says status stopped. Simple Features and other plugins all working well, and no other plugins installed through UnMenu
  13. I reinstalled UnMenu back onto the server and my CouchPotato, sabnzbd etc all install correctly on boot up now. Not sure why removing UnMenu would break the automatic installation of other plugins? Since that's now working I should mark it as solved. I've done your suggestion, the webserver plugin installs ok but now doesn't start, the status always says stopped. This was the problem I had prior to removing UnMenu. I've now come full circle but at least my other plugins work now I guess I should ask in the webserver thread.
  14. Hi thanks for the reply, I have the simple features plugin installed in the extras folder and then plugins using the plg type config like simple features webplugin, couchpotato, sabnzbd etc in the config/plugins folder. I think I have it setup correctly because before I deleted unmenu the plugins (except simple features webplugin) worked well. Simple features GUI is working well too, I'm very impressed by it! I might have to bight the bullet and go back to my earlier backup
  15. I've been trying to get the SimpleFeatures WebServer plugin working and get CouchPotato running, so I thought I'd strip my install back to basics, and tried to remove UnMenu to avoid any conflicts. However I stupidly didn't backup! I have a old backup from a few weeks ago but that was from before I installed a bunch of plugins and things. My problem is that none of the plugins in the config/plugins folder are installing/being configured on bootup. They don't show in the GUI to allow me to install them. To get to where I am now here's what I did: Spent a while getting CouchPotato working, then decided to get the webserver pluging working (assuming a conflict), I stopped UnMenu, deleted the unmenu folder, deleted the packages folder, and removed the 2 lines related to unmenu from the go script. Rebooted. I'm using 5.0-beta14 with the SimpleFeatures plugin. It's probably something obvious I've missed I'm sure but I'm at a loss how to fix it without going back to the older backup.
