What are the steps to get an NVIDIA card working with Plex docker with the recent PMS changes (v1.17)? Thanks.
-
How has the setup process changed (if at all) with the newest Public PMS release (version 1.17.0.1709)?

Answered my own question (Thanks AltaVista!). Following this method listed here :
The third command under Step 1 ended up working:
mount -o ro,notreelog,nologreplay /dev/sdX1 /x
Now, I'm currently watching MC copy everything from the X mount to a restore folder on my array. Going to reformat the unmountable SSD and copy everything back. Whole process taught me about MC. I was using the Krusader docker UI previously.
Guess I'm glad I didn't stripe the two cache drives to get more space a few weeks ago...
-
I know this has been discussed before, but I wanted to recap based on my setup.
I had a VM lock up and force stopped it. After that my cache drive became unmountable even after two controlled reboots. I have a pool of two SSD’s with the second mirroring the first.
Do I just format the first SSD that won’t mount and copy/restore data from the second SSD to the first? If so, how do I do the restore process?
thanks.
Here’s my logs:

For the Homebridge plugin, do I have to add the plug-in name to the space-separate list of plugins in the docker template every time I install a new one?
Forces a brand new installation (though settings/config saved) every time...
-
The most recent Homebridge w/ UI fixed the install and setup. I’m up and running again. Thanks.
-
@Siwat2545 awesome. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick update. I've installed it but still get the same setup errors (minus the homrbridge not found error). Here's an example of the logs

Last line of the homebridge install command have a typo in it?
“root/.homrbridge/log.txt)”
Should be “root/.homebridge/log.txt “ instead of homr?
The docker won’t boot after the last update.

Followed the instructions on Spaceinvader One's video here and it worked like a charm. This guy is indispensable! Thanks.

My Win10 VM w/ GTX 1070 was working flawlessly for the past 2 years.
Then, I updated both the MB's BIOS and to 6.6.5 yesterday. Now I'm getting the Code 43 error in Windows Device Manager. I've tried most the above steps short of flashing the graphics card's BIOS (never had to do that before).
Any ideas? Hoping it's a 6.6.5 thing and the next update will fix it...
-
Thanks for the detailed and honest reply.
-
This any better than Plex Music?
-
You try clicking the "Web UI" link in the docker container to ensure the address is correct?
-
There a VPN version of SABNzbd from LinuxServer.io? Couldn't find one googling.
-
All's well. Restarted the container and it found the newest update.
Wonder why it uses the ubuntu version and not the official unRAID copy Plex puts out...
-
Good catch...container vs. Plex.tv themselves...not sure.
-
Just noticed this too. Didn't have as solution on how to update to the latest public version...
Just tried deleting the "PUBLIC" variable from the docker settings, resorted the docker, and the Plex Server settings are still telling me to install manually...
Looks like the server file isn't posted as per my server logs..
Atempting to upgrade to: https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/%20/plexmediaserver_%20_amd64.deb: 2017-02-02 08:41:07 ERROR 404: Not Found.
-
I take it if we're running the LS version we don't have to do anything different?
-
This docker just became officially supported by PLEX
https://github.com/plexinc/pms-docker/blob/master/README.md
-
Thanks. I don't need the fancy new DVR function.
-
Anyone having problems with remote connections with PMS version X.X.X.XXXX. It's a Plex Pass version and the issue has only been reported with unRAID's.
The server will say "Accessible via Remote Connection" for about half a second then show it's inaccessible.
Main question is, can the PMS/docker be downgraded to a public version?
* mod - don't post plexpass version numbers

I was able to get it thanks to post #2 on here. https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41294.0
Basically had to create "/media" path and have it point to the array at "/mnt/user/Media"
Lost some sleep on this one...
-
Thanks for the reply.
Here are the recent logs with the error recreate along with the docker run on the bottom. I'm trying to get complete downloads based on their category moved from the cache drive ("/mnt/user/Media/Downloads/" in app data to the user share on the array called "Media." (/mnt/user/Media/Movies). The config's pointed to "/mnt/user/appdata/sabnzbd."
