Hi
TheWombat: If Plex is dying then suggest reviewing the Plex Media Server and Plex Media Scanner logs as well as the UnRaid Syslog. The Plex Media Server and Plex Media Scanner logs will be in a directory similar to:
\\tower\cache\applications\Plex\library\Application Support\Plex Media Server\Logs
depending on how you've set things up

I have not included the 2 plex log files you have requested, they are very big so I have to cut them down in size, do you want the last half of the log log files
?
hackztor: Two things that gave me issues with Plex and would randomly stop it were
1. Make sure you setup a share on the cache drive. I call mine data and make sure Use Cache disk is set to only. If you do not do this, it will try to move files to the parity.
2. Had same kind of issues with Cache Directories plugin. It works now, but had issues before with it.
I have been using plex and unraid without any crashes.
I did try to use a CACHE drive when I was on 5.0.16c with the same result as I see now.
henris: The provided syslog is not containing the crash information but the next clean boot. Syslog is reset on every boot so you should get the syslog AFTER the Plex crash and BEFORE you restart the system. This is at least how I saw it, since the log duration was only a few minutes. With a quick glance I did not see any problems in the base system.
It is the syslog after the crash and before the restart, I think the problem is the connection is lost to unraid when the problem accurres, I loose Telnet connection and I can't even log in to unraid if I use try to directly connect a monitor and keybord I just see the log in screen
