  1. why MythTV try this one. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20782.0
  2. I don't recommend hidden folders for plex, instead create an "cache only" user share.
  3. new plex media server is out: http://www.plexapp.com/linux/linux-pms-download.php
  4. the patch for Plex is already committed. then there should be no problem from this side.... it will be released as soon as possible.
  5. stupid question, but whats your test data? do you copy lots of small files or one big with 50 GB. because unRAID doens't work like RAID5, there you have 80GB but with unRAID you have 2 x 40 GB of protected data

  7. May be possible to change the port number. Security through obscurity. I think Tom can make so more ports are included, right now it's only port 80, perhaps a range from 8000 - 9000 or all port for the server IP I don't think Tom can do that, because every plugin has his own html/webserver framework. I think you have to ask the plugin maintainer if they can add some sort of security. In case of slimserver you have to ask logitech!? Or Tom allows plugnins only to use a frame inside his code, and you have to authenticate there, before you can see/edit those pages.....

  9. Hi speeding_ant, thanks for this plugin. works great. ....but you don't create the daapd user in your scripts, the users have to do it themselves. Maybe you could mention this in your first post. spidi
  10. @mgworek you installed your plex Library on /mnt/disk1/plex. This is maybe a reason why disk1 doens't spin down.
  11. VERY VERY VERY Nice work, BIG THANKs for that!!!!!
  12. it works with unraid. But I had to start it as root. (the config and pid file etc. is under /root/.couchpotato) You only get some error messages without git.
  13. looks good at the moment. is sabToSickBeard.py executable and has the user which run sabnzbd has the ownership of this file(s). if you run SAB as nobody it has to look like this: ls -al * -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 72 2011-08-23 22:05 autoProcessTV.cfg -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 71 2011-08-23 12:26 autoProcessTV.cfg.sample -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 2745 2011-08-23 12:26 autoProcessTV.py -rw------- 1 nobody users 2615 2011-08-25 04:40 autoProcessTV.pyc -rwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 979 2011-08-23 12:26 hellaToSickBeard.py* -rwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 1048 2011-08-23 12:26 sabToSickBeard.py*
  14. did you copy the autoProcessTV.cfg.sample to autoProcessTV.cfg and did the corresponding changes to your needs? (if you changed the port)
  15. is there a way to restart the webgui? i tried /etc/rc.d/rc.inetd stop .. start. but it doesn't help. the Problem is, I can't shutdown or reboot the server without the webgui. I can use the command line, but thats too much work every time.
  16. at the moment I have an other problem. I can't connect to http://tower. I can connect to the plugins and all other things are working. (status mail etc.) but i can't connect to "home" using 0.9b too.
  17. I had the same issue. its the timeout from the ssmtp process, when you send a test mail with wrong settings. You can wait for the timeout or like you said kill the process.
  18. Hi @all, I had a crash today with 5b12a. The server was not reachable and I couldn't get an output over DVI. I had to reset the Server. The logs are all written to the RAM (or not) so I can't give you an log file. lspci: 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 02) lsmod: r8168 170415 0 I use unRAID since beta5 or so. Never had a Problem with it. Maybe it was a coincidence. Regards, spidi
  19. Thanks Sokkes, nice work! I took your package and build my one for SABnzbd from it. Thanks for Inspiration. good night, spidi
  20. Go to the unmenu Package Manager -> Package to disable -> pres "disable Re-install on re-boot" thats should do the trick. ;-)
  21. Thank you Stokkes verry nice work! I have one Suggestion: can you add this "shell_exec('su nobody -c "/boot/custom/plex/plex.sh &> /dev/null &"');" in your Plex.php for the "Start" Button. Maybe configurable in the user.conf file. Because I don't like to run software as root. I have made this changes at the moment, but I don't know exactly how the Plugin system works. Do I have to do this every time I restart my server. Or is one time enough. Thanks, spidi
