  1. I upgraded from an I7-2600 with 8GB Ram to the below hardware a month ago Ryzen 1700 Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K5 4 x 8GB RAM Old Nvidia GS 8400 EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Existing 2 WD Red 3 TB HDD - 1 for parity 1 WD Green 2 TB HDD 1 Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD 1 VM - Windows 10 with GeForce 1050 pass-through for gaming 1 VM - Windows 10 for work Dockers MySQL CrashPlan I have been amazed at the performance. For the first couple of weeks I was having constant lockups. At least once a day. The system was useless. I kept checking back in on this thread and found a post by Pauven that ultimately solved the problem. Here is the link: Stability issues with unRAID on Ryzen? Go here: Disable Global C-State Controle for Ryzen Stability Fix . Ever since disabling the C-State controls my server has been running for almost 15 days with no problems. Very happy with the upgrade
  2. I upgraded my unRaid HTPC box from an i7 2600k with 8GB RAM to a Ryzen 7 1700 less than a month ago. The only things I kept were my drives and an old GeForce 8400 GS. Below are my specs: Silverstone GD08 GA-AX370 Mobo Ryzen 7 1700, stock cooler 4 x 8GB Vengeance DDR4 3000 - CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Parity - WD Red 3TB Data - WD Red 3TB, WD Green 2TB Cache - EVO 750 500GB Video Cards EVGA 1050 Ti, GeForce 8400 GS VMs - (Mild Gaming, music, movies) Windows 10 w/ 1050 Ti passthrough connected to my living room TV, (Work) Windows 10 - * both running off of the SSD Pros - Very impressed with the Ryzen processors. Plenty of power, loving all of the cores, and runs much cooler than my old 2600. I was pleasantly surprised by the power of the 1050 Ti as well. I don't game as much as I used to which made it hard to justify a 1080. The 1050 plays Doom at 6 Cons - Since upgrading my system I was experiencing total system lockups about every 10-12 hours. It was pretty much useless. it's been frustrating to say the least. Been scouring the forums but couldn't resolve the problem. Finally I came across the post below. I disabled the "Global C-State Control" in the BIOS settings last night. Fingers crossed buy my system lasted through the night and is still going this morning, 17 hours. it hasn't ran continuously for that long in a month. Thank you Pauven for the post. I will eventually install another 1050 or 1070 card so my sons and I can play multi-player games together through RDP using thin clients. Good luck with the build.
  3. I have attached the diagnostic files. I left my server off all night and booted it up this morning. I was able to start the array and it has been running a parity check for about 20 minutes now. I had some problems with my system locking up every day or 2 for months up until a couple weeks ago when I replaced the memory. Which seems to have fixed the problem. If the parity check completes I will run a memtest. I have had this server running for about a year now with no problems other than the locking up that was fixed by the memory swap out as previously mentioned. The lockup last night happened immediately after the 6.3.2 update. I was hoping when I updated to 6.3.5 it would fix it but it didn't. The server is spotless, fans are working and they filters are clean. unraidserver-diagnostics-20170604-0921.zip
  4. Went from 6.2 to 6.3.2 then to 6.3.5 using the "Check for Update" on the "Plugins" tab and now my unRaid server keeps locking up. When I reboot the server I can access the web interface. At first I thought it was only locking up when I would start the array. This last time I rebooted the server I just let it sit for 3-5 minutes without starting the array and I lost connection to the web interface. when I went to see if I could logon to the console the cursor is blinking but I am unable to type anything at the console. Below are the specs of my server Mobo: TZ68A+ CPU: 2600K RAM 8GB SSD/HDD Cache: Samsung EVO 750 - 500GB SSD Parity: WD Red 2TB HDD1: WD Red 2TB HDD2: WD Green 1TB Any help would be appreciated.
