  1. I believe it will maximize hard disks lifespan since read operations tend to cause tear and wear for normal hard disk, however it not the same case with SSD's since its lifespan only impacted by write operations.
  2. Hi, I'm wondering if there is any plan to utilize cache disk for holding most requested files, I think it will significantly decrease the spin-up operations on array disks and will give better performance for media streaming. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi, I just moved recently to UNRAID from windows 10 (Storage Space), I really enjoy its features and how its flexible with adding/removing disks. However I'm just wondering if its possible/useful to have option to create a mirror share, which will duplicate files across two disks or more. I feel it will make me more comfortable with the extra protection when more than one disk get corrupted at the same time. I'm backing up those file to remote site through crashplan but even so I'm still feel that this will give extra protection to my very important files. I know this can be achieved by scheduling a command to sync files between two shares (Each assign to specific disk) , however I wished if its built in feature without the need to maintain or monitor the script result. Thanks for this amazing OS.
