And where is the LB located? In front or after NPM?

I have unraid server w/this docker installed. I also have a bunch of VMs (linux) on unraid as well.

Honestly, not sure what/where the NPM is located, or the LB in the architecture.

Edit: I'm an idiot...NPM=nginx proxy manager

So again, the NPM and Linux VMs are all on my unraid server.

  2. Hello,

Sorry for the newb question(s), but I'm running into issues getting what I need to work, working.

    Here's the run down:

    1. Group of Splunk search heads (SH) (each has own IP on LAN) that I want load balanced (basically same application running on multiple server instances
    2. Access above Splunk SHs (sticky session) via a single IP (no DNS setup right now)
    3. Have the load balancer (LB) randomly select one of the Splunk SHs when the above IP is entered in a web browser
      1. Sticky session(s) as this is recommended by Splunk

I was able to get the stream working, but that only pushes to a single IP (Splunk SH) from a single port (8000, which is same on each Splunk SH), and not rotate between them all.

Am I going about this all wrong, and/or is this not able to do what I'm attempting to accomplish?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

  3. @munit85 Did you ever find a fix for this?  I have the same issue. I also have my plex appdata on an unassigned SSD, so I assume that's where things are breaking.

I get the following error when attempting to play a movie/TV show:

"Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted."

I'm not really in the mood to move everything back to the array to test it out right now, but maybe soon just to see if that's the underlying issue.

  4. Oh, I thought he did. I read it as he has a SecurityOnion VM w/in Unraid that needs his/her network traffic mirrored to that VM. Also, I didn't mean Unraid is the VM. I meant that SO is the VM w/in Unraid.

    Sorry for the confusing wording.
